Nature with all its phenomena has always been an important source of inspiration to Cy Twombly. For the opening of its new wing designed by Renzo Piano, the Art Institute of Chicago is presenting a major Twombly show with paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculptures that deal with nature and the natural world.
